Chef Lincoln

Lincoln has really enjoyed working in the kitchen lately. So this morning Lincoln and I made crepes. He loves to dress the part. He took the picture of me, said I had to wear his hat. I let him put all the ingredients in and run the mixer and everything. It was fun to see how much he enjoyed helping. Only mistake I made was when he wanted to make the crepes red, I let him put the food coloring in. He used over half the bottle, and kept calling them blood red. It was kinda weird, but really fun. He enjoyed making them much more than eating them. He only ate one. We had a nice lazy day today. Love the bad weather sometimes. :)
Jared also put him to work, told him he needed him to put a letter in the mailbox. Lincoln of course made it into an adventure. You always need your headlight and your gun when going to the mailbox didn't you know. :) And we didn't even dare look to see what he packed in his bag. I love that he still has his jammies on and he decided his church shoes were the best fit with the outfit

I don't think Lincoln is missing school with how busy his parents are keeping him. Also I think the videos were the quietest I have ever seen lincoln. SOOO CUTE!!!

He is having a fun summer for sure...I just wish he'd sleep in like a teenager in the summertime! I had two of the crepes, it was hard to think about his "blood" comment when chewing (sorry if I grossed you out). I can't wait to see what he'll think of tomorrow.

Lincoln had such a fun adventure going to the mail box. Enjoy that while he is still willing to do things for you. You guys are doing fun things this summer.

Those are the reddest crepes I've ever seen Lincoln! You must be a great cook!
Maybe he'll think of something creative to make for daddy on Father's day :)

WOW those creaps are so red! You should try reading green eggs and ham for a bed time story then feed him green eggs in the morning.
