Don't hate me

****Disclaimer: Jared said the only way I can blog about this is if all you wives out there don't tell your husbands "You should do that!"****

So my husband is amazing. I don't like to brag about him very much because it makes people uncomfortable, so forgive the bragging. :) I've had a rough go with my pregnancy and have just started getting out and about like I used to. I've really wanted some shopping time and alone time in general. On Thursday Jared kicked me out of the house. He told me he didn't care what I did, pedicure, shopping, eating out; rules were I couldn't use my phone, and I only had to do what I wanted.

It was a fabulous day. I started at J&J and got plants for my pots, Next Hobby Lobby, then Kohls, the mall, the distribution center and got a hair cut with my good friend Chad that always cheers me up. I loved coming and going and doing exactly what I wanted. I left around nine and didn't get back until almost seven. Then we went to Speed Racer(that's a whole blog by itself) as a family. So much fun.

But the story doesn't end there. (This is the part you might hate me for) While I was gone all day Jared and Lincoln cleaned the house, cleaned out the fridge (washing the shelves), did the laundry (folded and put away), went grocery shopping, (Sam's and Walmart). AND when I got home they had a present for me. A new book to read with two new games to play with Lincoln(Go fish and a number game). Basically he did all my chores I hate.

Here are a few pictures he took of their day together. Lincoln got to pick out a new monster truck. Daddy is much more fun to shop with than Mommy. :)

I love my husband. Some people think I've made him this way, but I'd just like you all to know he came this way. He's always been willing to help and very thoughtful.

You're not hated, but definitely spoiled! Glad you had a fun day.

However I always like to take just one kid with me shopping. I don't like to shop alone! :)

I must point out that the previous blog was about the Father and Sons campout that was last weekend. Sounds like you've had a lot of good quality time on your own. Well deserved, of course. Plus I must also point out that your cool friend Amy got to hang out with you last weekend and did have some contact with you when you weren't suppose to be using your phone. :)

Jarad YOU ROCK! What a sweet guy! Thanks for sharing.

I know what you mean about people getting jealous. Trinton does MOST of our house work and people roll their eyes at me when I say that. How did we get so lucky?

Anna,
I am so glad that you have a husband like that, I know your expectations help a lot too. What a fun day for you. And it looks like Lincoln and Jared had fun too.

And I am expected to find a guy like that?!?!?! Good thing I have an older brother to compare them too :)

I don't think she wrote the disclaimer right, I didn't want her to make it sound like a big deal. She disserves more time off for sure. We had a good time, especially at the movie. Can't say the shopping was my favorite, but the toy isle was nice ;). Thanks everyone for the nice words, I only had one day of what all you mothers do or did 365 days of the year. I'd have to blog every day to do you all justice...thanks anyway.

see. he even tried to make it no big deal, and even made himself more wonderful. :) Love that man.

Hurrah for Super Jared! Anna, you are a person who knows just how to "take care" of anyone in need, and you jump right in and get it done (Amy and I can both attest to that), so it's only fitting that you married a man who is capable of the same. What a match you two are!! :) (Speaking of which, I still have your book...)

You did catch a good one Anna! I don't think any one would hate you Anna, and if any guy tried to hate your husband they could try but he's just too darn nice to hate!

Jared you're AWESOME! I don't like to do dishes or laundry. I have a hard time waiting for machines to do my work. I'll stand at the washer and turn the knob because it takes to long. So, Doug likes to do them. He likes cleaner clothes and dishes. He really does it because he knows I don't like to. Aren't husbands GREAT!

We really do need to brag once in a while about our husbands because you know, I'm sure thats what our men do all the time at work is brag about how awesome we are. They might even compare lunch sacks.
