Zoo trip

Grandma Blair had a few free zoo tickets so we went today. I must confess I do not enjoy crowds of any kind, and for some reason I have a harder time when it is mostly children with Parents always screaming at the kids. (Every time I go to Wal-mart someone gives me an example of very poor parenting. Sorry that has nothing to do with the zoo.) So I wasn't the best company but it was great to get him out and let him play with his cousins. (And the parents screaming had nothing to do with my party, I believe my son was the worst of the day. Maybe his mom should have been screaming at him ;) )
Lincoln and all the kids had a blast. The weather was very nice not too hot not too cold. And they got to ride the new carousel ride. Lots of fun. Thanks Grandma Blair for providing a whole day of entertainment.

I put Jared on camera duty, he likes to take pictures of people who don't know they are getting their picture taken. I think he just hates camera duty.

I don't know if I have seen a giraffe laying down. I thought you liked candid pictures :)
The pictures were great and it looked like a busy crowded day.

I think my shots are rather artistic...but you get what you get when you hand it over. Sorry you didn't have a great time, we've been spoiled going for free in the winter. My thanks also to Sharon for getting us in, it was fun. My favorite was on the car ride up Lincoln was telling us "I want to see the alligator eating a kangaroo and a joey!" Sadly it didn't happen and the exhibit sign says they prefer turtles, fish, and rodents....no marsupios :).

Looks like a wild day! Good job with the pictures Jared. I've never seen a giraffe laying down before either. Well I have, but it was on like National Geographic where it couldn't get up again but that's another story.

Dito with the crowds. I'm not a big fan. I tend to find a person to make fun of to make me feel better.
