life....

My blog says I've reached my limit on pictures, honestly who does that? :)
So I'll just ramble when I'm supposed to be packing and cleaning for vacation in the morning.
Life keeps moving, even when you want nothing more than to just slow it down. I can't believe july is almost over. It feels like we're in full throttle and there are no breaks.
Just to see how we can handle life this week has been a crazy one. Work for Jared is stressful right now, he's working two positions (someone quit) and trying to get it all done in the same amount of time as one. So there have been a few late nights, one of them our AC froze up. Awesome. I kept wondering why our house never seemed to cool off as much as we wanted it too. We thawed it out good then it froze again. (thank you mom and dad for taking Lincoln before we killed him) Three days later we finally called a repair man (menlove appliance heating and air, he was so nice and wonderful) who in about twenty minutes had us up and running. (freon. $29 a pound) In the midst of all that Ruby had herself her first fever and is working on cutting her first teeth. Which she does not appreciate. So we've had a very sad cuddly Ruby Ann, who only wants her daddy whom is actually working so she's sad.
Lincoln got a summer buzz, just because and is working feverishly on riding his bike sans training wheels. We'll keep you updated. He's also trying to see what it takes to break his mother. The sassyness has reached an alltime high and I'm sooooo done with it. Must restrain. Honestly I have no idea where he gets his attitude. He really should hang out with his calm and collected father more. The other day he said to me, "How do you know smarty pants." and I retorted "because I'm older, bigger and smarter than you." then I just sat there in silence wondering who was the child. :) I don't know how to teach a child not to have attitude when I'm dripping with it.
I'm trying to make this whole preschool thing work....sigh....
Our lawn is dying because of broken sprinklers, I need to learn to fix them. I have five loads of laundry to fold and put away (four more to wash) and somehow pack us up and head out to Lava.
My sister in law whose living with us is getting married in 13 days, I try to help but sometimes I think I hinder more than I help. :)
And I'm totally blocking out the fact that my son is going to kindergarten in a few weeks. I refuse to think about it. . . my baby... see I'm done.
And all I really really want to do is take a nap and drink cherry coke, not the diet. I'm sick of diet. I just want to eat what I want and not worry about what its doing to me. Mint oreos, mmmmm I want mint oreos.
Jared is going to shake his head if he ever sees this entry of randomness.
Oh and I tried to fix the @#$%* pictures in the below post and it won't let me. Maybe I'll stop blogging. . . .

I wish I had some coke and oreos for you right now. Your weeks kind of sucked sounds like you need to go to Lava go down the river and let your husband take the kids for a while. Oh and if you have any good suggestions for not killing your kid let me know. After about 9 at night I just break and all the niceness drains out. I hope you got stuff packed and ready. I'm excited to hang out with you guys there. And I'm really really glad Lincoln didn't get sick. I should start blogging again. see there random entries get random answers :) see you tomorrow!!!!

I am so glad to hear that Lincoln is super sassy--not because that is fun for you, but because Nate has been horrible with it. I feel like screaming at him some days, and some days I get pretty close as I catch the level of my voice rising higher and higher. Sorry about Ruby's teeth. That is never any fun. Good luck getting ready for your vacation and enjoy it when you get there!!

I love your random post!! What a perfect summation of how crazy life is at times. I have to laugh though...where does Lincoln get his sassiness? Hmmm...I seem to remember receiving numerous notes from someone who was grounded every summer, practically all summer long! :) I hope you have fun on your vacation. It will be a nice break. Oh, and go ahead and eat all the mint oreos you want--on vacation everything is fat free!
