We had a great St. patrick's day. Started with green eggs and green milk. I went to Lincoln's school to take pictures (I do their website) Then Janay(my sister) came over and we had the kids play. Next the boys had hair cuts at that super cool kid place snip its!

The other day......
So my son has extra imagination skills. The other day he noticed the neighbors were out jumping on their tramp. He tried to get their attention by yelling, but he was too short and too small. He came in and asked me to please hold him up so he could talk to the neighbors I declined on grounds of being embarrassed. Next he decided he just needed a stool. He found one in the garage and hoped it would work. Still too short, so he thought he could put the sled on the stool to climb up, for some reason the sled wouldn't stay on the stool. (I'm making dinner and watching his little mind work). Then he has a little aha moment and comes running inside. "Mom I need to make a note, then the neighbors will know I am here" I comply out of curiosity of where he'll take this next. He gets his note and goes to toss it over the fence. I spy again.
Next he runs to the steps to wait in sweet anticipation, knowing the neighbors will write him any moment. He waits and waits. Doesn't hear them and comes up with another plan. "Mom, I need to go tell the neighbors there is a note in their backyard" I tell him they probably will find it later and don't worry about it. But he is very serious. So I finally let him go, but because of embarrassment hide out of the way so the neighbors don't see me. Next my judgment gets the better of me, and can't believe I let my four year old go to the neighbors alone. (I do know the neighbors, they are nice)

Ruby looks so good in Green. what a cutie.
My heart breaks for sweet little lincoln, I want to run there and write him a note and put it on the string :(
aww! That makes me so sad! Trinton will be his friend!
What a sweet little boy you have, and you are a good mom too. He will get friends as soon as it is warm enough, and then you wont know what to do with all of them.
Oh, we have the same problem at our house...I guess we need Lincoln here.
Thanks for playing with us. We love lincoln. Michael practically worships him. Can we be your friends? :)
I totally know how your sweet little Lincoln feels. I have two of those, dying to play with a friend. But they do have each other which makes it a little different. Maybe we could do a park day someday and let our boys play?
I tried the green food one time. Dex thought it was fun. When Dex was in first grade I dyed my feet green for a story that I was going to read to his class. Yeah, they were green for over a week.
Dex will be his friend!
He's is so adorable. How do you stand it?!?
Elizabeth could use a cute friend like Lincoln!
We need to come see your new house sometime.
