Our Pediatrician is the sweetest man. He's an older African American from the south and he is just so cute with the kids. At Ruby's 4 month check up he told us that she's a little advanced for her age. Alertness, mobility and language/noises. He was talking to Ruby and it was just so cute how he said it."Slow up, Miss Ruby. There is no hurry. Slow up!"
She weighed 13.8 50%
Length was 25 inches 90%(no wonder she's too long for all the 3-6 month clothes.)
head was 50%
She got 4 shots :( and one oral. She did great though. But the shots did make her sad for about 24 hours. She also developed pink eye some how, doesn't seem to bother her, but it just doesn't look the same with her big beautiful eyes all goopy.
She is so fun to have around. She loves her brother, when he walks in the room she wants to be right with him. She's reaching out to us to hold her and touch her. She's able to grab anything within reach and jam it into her mouth.
The Dr. suggested feeding her cereal and solids as soon as I am ready, because he said she is ready. (where'd my newborn go?) As always I'm over the moon for this baby girl and so happy she's in our family. And if you thought she was adorable in her pictures check out her giggle. :)
