A big Yellow Taxi took my baby away.....

First day of school
Ready to leave
Lincoln was brave and happy as usual. He didn't have time for a good bye hug, barely a wave.
He was very excited and even got to ride the bus! He came home and told me, "Mom, that bus isn't even safe! They don't have any seat belts!"
He's in the Spanish immersion program, and said, "My teacher spoke Spanish, and I didn't even know what she was saying!"
When asked what his favorite part was, he quickly responded, "Recess!"
He came home and told me he had homework, and was so excited to have homework like big kids. All in all it was a great day for him. And I am happy he's home and safe. I'll get better at this.
I had a hard time letting him go, and am very happy that the new sunglasses are so big to hide my tears.

He is too tough!! Not even a hug, that's cruel.

I am so glad his first day went well. That was Nate's favorite thing about the bus(and probably why he is so excited for school), no car seat and no seat belt.
Lincoln is so awesome and Nate keeps asking when he can play with him again.

What a cutie patootie! :) (You can tell him I said that!) I'm anxious to see how long it takes before he comes home and refuses to speak English to you--your own Spanish immersion, so to speak! :) Tee hee

He doesn't look a bit nervous! In fact, he looks all grown up. Good job Lincoln!

He is going to have a wonderful year in Kindergarten. Everyone loves Lincoln, he will have lots of friends.

Okay that just made me cry. Good luck I'm sure it will get better. And just go give him hugs and kisses when he's sleeping. Ohh he's getting so big. That part sucks. I'm glad he's excited though that will make it easier on you right (yah right.)
