and we moved....

I know, fast but I couldn't handle the stress of not knowing where I was going to put my baby girl. We've actually been here a week. We found a town home that is two minutes from the train station for Jared and 5 minutes from preschool for Lincoln. It has four bedrooms and a garage so we can live and survive for 6 months. :) We're not all the way unpacked (it's hard that I can't do as much as I normally would). But we do have our priorities right and have our Halloween decorations out. :)
And Jared gets double, triple brownie points because he really did all the packing and moving and I really didn't do much at all. Our friend Tad helped a ton and my parents helped a ton. It's amazing what you can do in a day. It's so nice to be in our own space and making room for little ruby. :)
Jared and I put a dresser together for Ruby and the crib arrived yesterday and awaits our building skills as well. It is lots of fun to get everything ready. I'll get a picture of her room once it's ready.

****Deal of the century****

The day we moved we decided we needed a new dresser. The one Jared and I were sharing was actually my mom's and it didn't fit our clothes anyway. I decided I'd go get a couple from Ikea, but we thought we'd just check target first to see if they had anything comparable so I didn't have to drive so far. When we got there they had this dresser on clearance for $125. A good deal because it was regular $250. Layton was out so we called centerville and riverdale. Finally found some in South Jordan, I called and talked to the guy and he said he had three, then he told me they were only $68 dollars. I thought he had the wrong dresser and made him double check. It was the ones I wanted. When I got there they were closing out the dressers plus the whole line. So I got two chairs and and an end table, plus the two dressers for the price of one dresser full price. I was so excited, still am. :)

Yay! I am glad you found a place and you guys are fast. My sister got the same deal, but they didn't have any here.

Wow. I saw the boxes when we moved you in I didn't look to closely at them, but those are really nice dressers! What a deal. You really got some good stuff because you're patient enough to look around. That's like the water heater thing I got for under Grandma Heaton's sink. I found a dusty box that didn't have a display place so I guessed it might be a closeout. It was priced at one penny! I had them check it out and it was one cent. It was a $250 dollar unit.
I'm proud of you.
