My Son.....6

Six? Are you kidding me? Six? It seems like just the other day I was crying to Jared because I didn’t know if you were eating enough or if I was feeding you right or why you weren’t sleeping. Then came the sweet sweet giggles and the endless tantrums. You yelling “ ‘mere” every five seconds because you wanted me to come see your newest creation. The sweet proud smile after you colored all over yourself and the walls. My big boy going to preschool, so happy and excited…..never looking back. That’s always been your way, you live life to the fullest, never cautious never wary(unless there are previews, watch out for the previews). I’m always happy to hang on and enjoy the ride with you. We’ve moved from Elmo and tellatubbies to Ruff Ruff man and Electric company. First grade is screaming around the corner on it’s way and I keep thinking where’d my baby go. Your starting to understand and use sarcasm (I try not to be proud). After every hug and kiss I wonder how long is this going to last? When are you going to be too cool for your Mom? I think it’s coming…

You have taught me so much and I’m excited to learn more, thank you for being my son.

Rock on, buddy. Rock on!

It just happens so fast! I feel your pain. The best is when you can see yourself in them and realize they're always yours.

Happy Birthday cute Lincoln!
I still remember when I was on bedrest with Bethany and you would come down to visit and you were pregnant with Lincoln too. Time goes by a little too fast!
